One of my favorite places to eat is a place called Bentley's in Stratford, Ontario Canada. It's not the most posh place, its sorta like a bar with some good food. Anyhow as I was enjoying my Pulled Pork sandwich I decided to hit the shutter on my camera and got this shot, I kinda liked the whole depth of field thing going on and I applied a cross-processed curve adjustment to it.

What is a 'cross-processed curve adjustment' - whatever it is, it's worked here! I love the depth of field and the incredible colours. Cool stuff.

@Bronnie: The cross-processed thing is a Curves Adjustment layer with the red green and blue channels being pulled to make them wierd (non-technical explanation). If you wan't have a look at http://blog.dannyngan.com/2005/08/01/tip-cross-processing-in-photoshop/ This is the process I used and it worked out nice for that image.
Great processing here, it really does appear to be cross processed. Nice work, I love the tones, the focus, the subtely here. The emotions resonating from it are, at once lonely and comforting. Simply beautiful.

@Paul Ricciardi: Thanks, I loved the original image alot but I went on a manic phase the other night and decided to try other things, I must have 30 versions of this image now all with different ideas stacked on them hehe. Anyhow thanks for the comments, I appreciate it.
Great color , the process worked out quite well. Is that the same effect used to make landscapes look like miniatures ? And congratts on your 100th post !

@Fred: No its not the same as the miniatures idea. I used the centre focus point and aimed it at the little menu and then shot. The blur in the front and back is due to the shallow depth of field since I was using f/1.8. It's more selctive focus. I guess in some ways the idea is similar in the miniature idea.
yes the depth has bring a very nice effect in this photo, i love the color contra as well.good job!
