In terms of processing I basically adjusted the levels a tad to darken the background a bit, ran a plugin called lucisart in sculputre mode and singled out the couple and the fountain stream. After I used selective color and bumped the people a tad. Then masked out stuff I didn't like to try and draw the attention away from the background some. I originally tried blurring the background but that made a mess so I was kinda stuck with the DOF. I should have saved the PSD. Also at the end I ran the Highpass filter at around 10 to sharpen it up a little. The plugin is the key to it as it helps to isolate things more. Also shooting this at near sunset time helped a lot to generate the warm tone.
Anyhow hope that helps a little, I am not the best at explaining stuff.
