Off to the Races or A Nap ...

Everytime I look at this picture or show it to folks the question was always, Why is he carrying a blanket. I have no Idea why and probably will never know. But it is fun to speculate. After all he is also carrying his helmet so I assume he was heading off to his car. Maybe car racing is boring ?
